HISTORY

Being huge fans of mudslides at the famous Chart Room in Cataumet MA, our first thought on this Frappe Recipe was…..who’s driving …….grab the blender! 

Creative, cheeky and everything you would want in a delightful treat. This recipe won over the entire team during our 2016 Blogger Recipe Challenge. Kelly Williams from Wildflour’s Cottage Kitchen surprised all our taste buds with this original Frosty Chocolate Cranberry Frappe. This recipe was awarded 1st place in our challenge in the beverage category.

 We find this cocktail to be a winner at any party calling for frozen drinks. Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter this delightful drink takes cranberries to a new level!

RECIPE

Ingredients

1 1/2 Oz. Brewed Espresso, Chilled
2 Ice Cubes
1 Cup Cape Cod Select Frozen Cranberries
2 Generous Scoops Coffee Ice Cream
2 Oz. Godiva Milk Or Dark Chocolate Liqueur
1 Oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
1 Oz. Milk, Half And Half Or Heavy Whipping Cream



Preparation

Brew 1 1/2 oz. of espresso and pop into the freezer or fridge to chill. Once espresso has chilled, add to blender with ice cubes, frozen cranberries, coffee ice cream, and all liquid ingredients. Blend on high until smooth. Pour frappe mixture into glass and top with whipped cream, grated chocolate, a cherry and optional ice cream. Serve and enjoy immediately.
