Overnight
Cape Cod Select launched brand new packaging designs in March 2019. During the design process we decided each package should have two recipes per bag to show how versatile our frozen fruits are. We did some brainstorming and came up with a Tropical Overnight Recipe as the second recipe for the Tropical Blend. It’s easy to make and something different to have for breakfast. It will also keep you full. In case you’re wondering, the first recipe on the bag is for a Cape Cod Tropical Smoothie and it’s delicious too!
1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
1/4 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
1/4 Cup Almond Milk
1 Tbsp. Chia Seeds
1/2 Tbsp. Honey
1 Cup Tropical Blend, Separated
shredded Coconut
Pour 1/2 cup Tropical Blend in a bowl or mason jar and set aside.
In a separate bowl combine rolled oats, Greek yogurt, almond milk, chia seeds, and honey and mix well.
Pour oat mixture over the 1/2 cup Tropical blend. Add the other 1/2 cup of Tropical Blend on top and sprinkle shredded coconut.
Let sit overnight and enjoy the next morning cold.
Serves 1 to 2 people depending on personal preference and portion sizes.
