HISTORY

This recipe is ideal to make during the holidays but can be made all year long! The aroma this chutney wafts through your kitchen makes it feel like you’re nestled in a snowy cabin awaiting Santa to visit. Yankee Candle should add this to their holiday candle line up!
We originally featured our frozen cranberries at Whole Foods with this recipe. People flocked to the smell of ginger and cinnamon.

Perfect to serve with brie and crackers for horderves and appetizers, this recipe can also brighten up ice cream treats, meatballs, wings and more!

The possibilities are endless.

Don't want to make the recipe yourself? You can now order it from our website and have it shipped right to your door, here. (However, we have to mention our jarred doesn't have the apple in it so it will be a little different but that's what is great about chutneys and jams they can all have their own spin and be tasty!)

RECIPE

Ingredients

4 Cups Cape Cod Select Frozen Cranberries
1 Large Tart Apple, Diced
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Honey
1 Cup Water
2 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Tsp. Ground Ginger
1/2 Tsp. Ground Cloves

Preparation

Combine all ingredients in medium saucepot. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until apple is tender and mixture thickens. Transfer chutney into a sealable container and allow to cool before placing in the fridge. Chutney will keep for two weeks in fridge.
