HISTORY

Who doesn't love a good chicken wing recipe? This recipe was submitted into one of our food blogger contest and is absolutely delicious! Created and photographed by Danielle of Went Here 8 This. We love the fusion of asian flavors with cranberry to create a unique flavor that is so tasty. You may need a few extra napkins as it can be a bit messy to eat, but we think you'll get over the mess once you take a bite!

RECIPE

Ingredients

  • 2lbs chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. baking poweder
  • 1/3 tsp. salt

For the Glaze:

  • 1 cup Cape Cod Select frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tbsp. fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 1-2 tbsp. coconut sugar

1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Place the chicken wings in a bag with the baking powder and salt and shake to evenly coat the wings. Bake for 30 minutes. Turn up the heat to 425 degrees and bake another 40 minutes.

2. While the wings bake place glaze ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes. Use a spoon to help mash the cranberries as the glaze cooks. Add more or less sugar to taste. Remove from heat.

3. Place the wings in a bowl, coat with the glaze and pop back into the oven for 5 minutes until gooey and caramelized.

4. Serve with extra glaze on the side for dipping.
